The Ribbon and Backstage Arrive in Outlook
Get an overview of the big differences visually between previous versions of Outlook and Outlook 2010. In Backstage View, you will notice the options that were once under the Tools menu of Outlook. You will also discover that you can combine separate e-mail accounts in one mailbox by adding them “backstage.” You will also learn that the keyboard shortcuts you have used in older versions of Outlook continue to work in Outlook 2010.
How to Work with Conversations
In this segment, learn the value of viewing messages in Conversation View, as well as see a demonstration of customizing Conversation View, ignoring a conversation and cleaning up a conversation.
How to Configure QuickSteps
QuickSteps are shortcuts that you create which enable you to perform one or more tasks on messages in your mailbox. Rather than using Rules, you can build QuickSteps that are run on demand, rather than automatically.
What’s New with the Calendar
The Calendar in Outlook 2010 enables you to create groups of calendars, view calendars in Schedule View and even see a calendar preview in meeting request windows before you accept or reject the meeting.
